Within the time span of my own life there has been a dramatic change in the degree of reverence that many individuals hold for their respective religions. It is not uncommon for an individual to express, “I am spiritual, but not religious.” This expression that denies one’s religion’s veracity is a strong testament to the reality that religions are being seriously questioned and the resultant exodus of the individual from their religion is a further testament that these religious mythologies have been found as predominantly fallacious and thus rightly abandoned. As it was with Martin Luther, who had identified many of the fallacies of the Catholic Church; there was simply no viable alternative offered and Christianity remained as the principal outlet and source of one's spirituality. In today's world where knowledge and understanding is shared almost universally, it is not uncommon for these often confused individuals to seek that alternative in other non-Western religions. With few exceptions, the individual more often encounters this same lack of any significant spiritual meaning or confirmation and often remains lost in a baffling sea of spiritual doubt. It is my sincere contention that there does exists a viable alternative and it is only in this Age of Reality where mankind can potentially and finally obtained his spiritual maturity that this alternative can be easily realized. To achieve this realization I feel it is important for one to fully understand mankind's spiritual history without any condemnation. In the previous history of mankind's spiritual naïveté, it is understandable that the individual was often preyed upon by religious despots in their respective religions. With the advent of mankind's maturing intellect along with his focus and study of the individual psyche there comes the revelation that it is possible for the individual to experience a life of joy and moral conduct without the guide of any religion. In this transition period leading to spiritual maturity there is often much confusion as religion continues to condemn those immoral individuals specifically as those individuals who have turned away from their religions. Immoral conduct is simply that, immoral conduct, and in no way does an individual require any religion in his life in order to live and experience a moral existence; this is a fallacy propagated by religion as a justification for their own continued and tenuous existence. There need be no broad condemnation of religions as they have often served as an important role in society. The problem is that their moral authority was too often founded upon lies and mythologies that were designed to extract absolute obedience for the length of one's life. In this oppressive state the individual psyche was denied any individual expression and this naturally stunted one’s growth; intellectually, emotionally and spiritually. It is the intentions of this web site to explore this spiritual dynamic of human behavior and help those individuals seeking the "truth" to understand that the divinity is a wonderful and sacred quality of mankind and lies within each individual. If there is any statement of faith that might be preserved, it would simply be, “God is love.” God is love and absolutely nothing more, and that love can only be expressed from somewhere deep within each and every one of us.
